Itinerary of Everest Base Camp Tibet Side From Kathmandu in detail

Days 01 : Kathmandu – Nyalam. Early in the morning scenic drive to Kodari. (Nepal-Tibet border.) After the necessary custom formalities, we will continue on our way to Nyalam Overnight at Guest House.

Days 02 : Nyalam- Tingri O/N at Guest House.

Days 03 : Drive to Rongbuk. O/N at Lodge

Days 04  : Today you reach the Everest Base Camp. It’s a 2 hours trek from the Rongbuk Monastery then you are at the highest peak on Earth – The North Face or Mount Everest. (8848m). Or Mount Quomolangma in Tibetan. Explore the Base Camp and latar in the Afternoon drive to Lhatese (Approx. 8 hrs) O/N at Guest House.

Days 05  : Lhatse – Xigatse. Continue the scenic drive while crossing over Gyatchu La the highest pass en route to Lhasa via Lhatse. Overnight at Hotel Everest Friendship.

Days 06  : In the morning visit Tashilumpo Monastery and the Free Market. Latar part of the day proceed to Gyantse to visit Khumbhu Stupa and the Phalkor Monastery. Overnight at Hotel Utse or similar

Days 07  : Drive Gyantse- Lhasa while crossing The Karo La and Kamba La passes. The colorful Yamdrok Lake and the Tibetan lifeline river Brahmaputra can be seen along the way. Overnight at Hotel Flora or similar.

Days 08-09  : Two days Lhasa Sightseeing Tour. Visit Potala Palace & Nobulinka Palace, Drepung & Sera Monastery, Joklang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar. O/N at Hotel Flora or similar.

Days 10  : Drive to airport and fly back to Kathmandu.
