Expedition In Tibet

There are only three major peaks in Tibet which the Tibet Mountaineering Department has given permission for climbing. According to Buddhist Philosophy every mountain is sacred and should not be touched by human feet. One of these mountains is Everest which can also be climbed from the Nepal side, the other 2 are Cho-Oyu (8201 meters) and Shishpangma (8013 meters), neither of these giants are technically difficult but any mountain over 8000 meters (only 14 in the World) demands the

greatest respect and those participating in either of these climbing programs will need to be of a high standard of fitness. Our climbing team are vastly experienced all having participated in numerous Expeditions in Nepal, Tibet and India.

Mt. Everest Expedition

Mt. Chomolangma (Mt. Everest), the main peak of the Himalayan mountains, is the highest peak in the world. Mt. Chomolangma, rising 8,848.13 metres above the sea level, is located at 27.9 north latitude and 86.9 east longitude. It straddles the east section of the border between China and Nepal, with the northern side lying in Tingri County of Tibet.

Mt. Shishapangma Expedition (8046m)

Mt. Shishapangma Expedition

Mt. Shishapangma (8,012m), located at 85.7 east longitude and 28.3 north latitude, stands in the middle section of the Himalayan Mountains. To the east of Mt. Shishapangma is Mt. Molamenchen (7,703m), to the west are Mt. Xifeng (7,792m), and Mt. Nandengri (7,205m), and to the northwest is Mt. Kangbochen (7,281m). This mountain was first successfully climbed in 1964

Mt. Cho Oyu Expedition (8204m)

Mt. Cho Oyu Expedition

The mountaineers who wish to climb 8000m peak, Cho Oyu will be their best choice since the mountain is straight forward to climb with minimal objective danger and less technically demanding. Cho Oyu has higher rate of success than other 8000m peaks simply because of the easy access to the basecamp and short and all fixed technical sections during the climbing.
