Mountaineering In Nepal

For the more adventurous traveler, there are 18 minor peaks open for Alpine climbing under Nepal Mountaineering Association. It should be noted that in most cases the climbing of these minor peaks (Trekking Peaks) required snow and Ice climbing experience. The royalty for these peaks ranges from 350.00 US$ to 500 .00 US $.

Himalayan Trail Finder Adventure Center delights to introduce mountaineering course in Island Peak, Labuze East and Meera Peak with the help of Nepal Mountaineering Association. Our intention of the course is to provide mountaineering skill for beginners to summit Himalayan and become a climber.  

Our mountaineering instructor begins the course by introducing essential equipments and verbal classes.  Train all necessary skills like crevasse rescue techniques, Ice rock climbing and complete climbing safety techniques.

Hiunchuli Peak

Hiunchuli Peak

Hiunchuli lies in the Annapurna range and it is connected to Annapurna South. Discovered by Col. Jimmy Roberts, it is one of the three major trekking peaks within the "Annapurna Sancturary", to be named by Roberts. The mountains of this area are considered the sacred by the Gurungs who inhabit the region. The other two peaks within the sanctuary are Tharpu

Singu Chuli was known as the fluted peak. Wilf Noyce and David Cox scaled the peak via its North East face and the top section of the East Ridge. The peak has verified to be very difficult to climb for most commercial climbing groups who have tried to concentrate on tent peak. Singu Chuli is the first summit on the long ridge thrown down from Tarke Kang (Glacier Dome),

 

Mera Peak

Mera is one of the highest peaks in Nepal Himalaya. Rising south of Everest, the peak was first scaled 20th May 1953 by J.O.M. Roberts and Sen Tenjing. The ascent of Mera is generally technically straightforward, requiring little more than crampons and ice axe. These peaks are part of the Manang Himal, which are quite rightly included in the larger Damodar Himal, the eastern limit of which runs south from Chako and Peak 6687 in a north-to-south direction along the Hunlung Khola, Nar Khola and Phu Khola. To the south it is bounded by the Marsyangdi Khola and the Mesokanta La. To the west its limit is the Kali

Pisang Peak is taken as easy trekking among other trekking peak but it is also found very difficult by some climbers and complained us that this is not also easy one. So naturally you have to have a good walking and climbing habit as well as your courage. The western face of the peak is guarded by a hanging glacier and offers a considerable challenging.

Naya Kanga is an attractive peak rising to the west of the Ganja La pass (5,122m/16,800ft) . Ascending to Ganja La and the summit of Naya Kanga offer the spectacular panoramic views of mountains in Nepal and Tibet including Langshisa Ri (6,370m/20,894ft), Pemthang Ri (6,836m/22,422ft), Shisapangma (8,046m/27,749ft), Langtang Lirung (7,425m/24,354ft)
